What are Cub Scouts?
The Cub Scout Promise and Law
Cub Scouts are boys and girls aged between eight and ten years old. There are loads of fun things that Cub Scouts do. They can try swimming, exploring, computing, and collecting. If they do them properly, just like with Beaver Scouts and Scouts, they will get a badge to proudly display on their uniform.
Cub Scouts also go on trips and days out, to places, such as the zoo, theme parks, or farms. Sometimes you will be able to go camping with rest of the Pack. This will mean they get a chance to sleep in tents and do loads of outdoor activities.

I Promise to Do My Best
To do my Duty
to God and to The Queen
To help other people
And to keep the Cub Scout Law
~ ~ ~
Cub Scouts always Do Their Best
Think of others before themselves
And do a Good Turn every day

We enjoy activities such as camping and aim to do three camps a year.
Our programmes tend to follow many of the calendar dates, such as national holidays and celebrations. We have had meetings on Chinese New Year and Christmas, as well as Mothers Day and Easter. We don't just follow the holidays though. We also aim to keep Scouting at the basics, and teach knotting, orienteering, and much more, but above all else...life skills!
